Daniel Monks is a writer, actor, producer and disability rights activist. He works in both film and stage. The film he wrote and starred in "Pulse" was screened at the Queerscreen's 25th Mardi Gras Film Festival. In 2017 he starred in The Real and Imagined History of The Elephant Man at the Malthouse Theatre. It was my personal favourite theatre production of 2017.
You may not that we don't go into detail of how Daniel acquired his disability. I had no intention of glossing over this but since there already some great interviews with Daniel I thought we could focus on his work and that I could link to other interviews here.
